Four tips for the maintenance of quartz stone countertops

Quartz stone countertops have many advantages such as “beautiful color, hard wear resistance, health and environmental protection, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-aging”. Their “durable and durable” characteristics can satisfy consumers for decades of use. In theory, there is no need to specialize. Care, if you have to give your beloved table a little care, then a little attention in the following four aspects is enough.

Xiao He asked the Hefeng quartz stone engineer to summarize the four coups of quartz stone countertop maintenance and share it with you.

1

Do not use non-neutral detergents for a long time.

In order to achieve rapid cleaning results, many consumers often use super-strong detergents and detergents with unknown ingredients. These detergents and detergents often contain strong acidity and alkalinity. If these liquids are often used for wiping, the quartz stone countertops will lose their luster and the brightness will decrease. The Hefeng quartz stone countertop is a dense non-porous composite material pressed by a super-large press, and is stain-resistant by a new generation of nano anti-fouling technology, without using any decontaminant. If you feel that the countertop is a bit dirty, just use a regular cleaning cloth dipped in warm water and slowly wipe it to be as bright as new.

2

Don't let the sharp-edged knife and other sharp edges come into contact with it.

The hardness of most quartz stones on the market is as high as 6.0-7.5 Mohs. In theory, the hardness is much larger than the sharp tools such as knives and shovel used in the kitchen, and it is not easy to be scratched. However, for sharp-edged knives such as the same hardness, it is best not to let them "close contact" with the countertop, so as to avoid the embarrassing situation of losing both sides. After all, the use of wooden cutting boards is more sanitary.

3

Do not place the hot pot just below the stove.

The quartz stone material itself is a typical refractory material with a melting point of up to 1300 degrees. However, the bottom temperature of the hot pot is extremely high and is covered with gray stains. The extremely high temperature gray stains are in direct contact with the quartz stone countertops, which may change the molecular structure of the quartz stone sheet surface, causing the table surface to heat up and shrink and crack or leave ash. Stains mark. Xiaohe suggested putting a heat insulation mat on the countertop and then placing the hot pot.

4

Do not apply a low-priced wax to the countertop.

There are many kinds of waxes on the market, such as water-based wax, stearic acid wax, oil-based wax, and acrylic wax. These waxes not only contain more or less acid-base substances, but also easily contaminate the quartz stone countertops with wax scale. The wax scale is prone to discoloration over a long period of time, which affects the color of the quartz stone countertops. The Hefeng countertop uses the latest nano-infiltration anti-fouling technology, and users do not need to use wax to protect it.
