Analysis of the reason why quartz stone countertop is easy to crack

Quartz stone has excellent scratch and stain resistance

Scratch, no penetration, stain resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, green environmental protection direct contact with food;

It is the preferred material for the countertops on the market.

However, due to improper processing and use, the quartz stone countertop is prone to the following cracking phenomenon...

1. Cracking at the center of the table

▼ subject to high temperature, impact by external force, uneven cabinet or slab, internal damage to the board, etc., easy to crack at the center of the countertop;

2. Cracking at the corner

▼The wall is too tight and does not leave the shrinkage joint, the two cabinets are uneven or unflattened, and the outer surface is impacted or the temperature changes.

3. Cracking around the basin

▼ There is no gap between the upper basin and the basin hole, the basin hole is not polished smooth, and the table surface is unevenly cracked due to external force impact or temperature change;

4. Cracking around the furnace hole

▼ There is no gap between the gas stove and the furnace hole, the furnace hole is not polished smooth, the external pressure is impacted or the temperature changes, the table surface shrinks unevenly and cracks;

5. Rear water block cracking

▼The cabinet is not flat or the pad is not leveled, resulting in cracking of the back water;

6. The rear water retaining edge is connected to the table top.

▼The cracking phenomenon of glue bonding is not strong;

7. Cracking at the table joint seam

▼When the installation workers are seaming, the seams are not aligned, the glue is not evenly spread, or the curing is added in the glue or the excess is promoted to make the seams more brittle and cracked slightly during use.
