As a new type of architectural decoration stone, quartz stone has become the preferred stone for high-grade decoration because of its many advantages such as wear resistance, scratch resistance, high temperature resistance, penetration resistance, non-toxicity and no radiation. With the continuous increase of quartz stone manufacturers in China and the continuous improvement of production technology, quartz stone plates have entered the mass consumption. At present, the most used field is the countertops, which are called quartz stone countertops. Due to the high hardness of quartz stone, it has caused some troubles for processing, because quartz stone is different from ordinary artificial stone processing, especially splicing. A common problem in quartz stone splicing is the height of the two plates. The treatment method often chooses to polish, which will lead to the tarnishing of the surface of the plate. How to repair the tarnish?

Common repair methods after discoloration due to grinding are:

1, can be waxed or use varnish, but these two methods can not be resolved for a long time, only temporary relief.

2. Repair with a brightener or resin. After repairing in this way, it can be kept for a long time but cannot be eradicated. In order to fundamentally solve the phenomenon of whitening at the joint, professional personnel should be sought to avoid secondary grinding and polishing during the installation of the board. The joints of the butt plates should be carefully treated during installation to achieve seamless docking. There is also a preventive work to avoid unnecessary secondary grinding of the exposed bumps of the glue when docking.

The surface of the quartz stone plate is not treated in a special way, but is formed by more than 30 high-pressure rapid water grinding. Once the low-speed grinding is used, it will cause whitening discoloration. Therefore, it is necessary to keep two plates in a horizontal line during processing and installation.
